Who is it aimed at?
       
    WordsPlease is for young people who enjoy learning - those people who are prepared to go the extra mile. If your son/daughter is interested in challenging and stimulating activities and has shown an interest in learning more about the English language then WordsPlease will be ideal for them.  
       
  What age groups is it designed for?
       
    WordsPlease is designed for young people between the ages of 10 and 14, but gifted younger children and some older children with also benefit greatly.  
       
  What does WordsPlease provide?
       
    WordsPlease will give your son/daughter access to a range of stimulating challenges. Subscribers receive a monthly magazine packed with a range of activities. Each month subscribers also receive access to the accompanying area on the web site. To complete the activities, subscribers will need to use the magazine in conjunction with the internet site.  
       
What aspects of the English language does it cover?
       
    The activities on WordsPlease cover a wide range of topics including grammar, poetry, writing activities, word games, history of spelling, introduction to Shakespeare & Chaucer, codes & ciphers, cryptic clues and a whole lot more.  
       
  Will it appeal to all young people?
       
    In order to benefit from WordsPlease your son/daughter will need to dedicate time to do research and complete the activities. They will need to have a desire to improve their knowledge of the English language and will sometimes need your help, support and encouragement.  
       
  Will my son/daughter need anything else to complete the activities?
       
    In order to carry out the research necessary to complete all of the activities, it will be helpful for them to have access to a dictionary, an encyclopaedia and membership of a library.  
       
  Can my son/daughter try it before I buy it?
       
    Yes absolutely. By clicking on the "Free Trial Area" link on the left you can gain access to the whole of the first month's activities - including a copy of the magazine that you can download. If you subsequently choose to subscribe then a high quality paper copy of the first issue of the magazine will be posted to you along with the issue for month 2.  
       
  How long does my subscription last?  
    There is NO minimum subscription period. You can choose to cancel your subscription at any time. When you subscribe, WorldPay (the company that processes credit/debit card payments for WordsPlease) will send you details that explain how you unsubscribe. Please make sure that you keep these details safe as you will need to follow them in order to unsubscribe.  
       
  How much does it cost?  
       
   

A subscription to WordsPlease is just £14.99 per month. When you subscribe to WordsPlease an initial payment of £14.99 is taken immediately. On the first of each following month a further payment of £14.99  is made (if you subscribe on or after the 15th of the month the next payment is taken on the first of the next but one month). Monthly payments will continue to be made until you unsubscribe by cancelling your WorldPay FuturePay agreement - details of how to do this will be sent to you by WorldPay when you subscribe. All payments will be made using the same debit/credit card that you used to make the initial payment and to set up the regular monthly payments through WorldPay. If you want to change the debit/credit card details for the FuturePay agreement you will need to log into the WorldPay system to amend your account details - login details will be emailed to you by WorldPay when you have successfully subscribed.
